This trend has been with us for a few seasons now. We are seeing double breasted button embellishment and shoulders emphasized as well. There has been a lot done in denim. Look out for the following:
• Structured full trousers with nipped in high waists
• Jackets with two rows of buttons and double breasted
• Epaulette shoulders – looks like old school navy
• Navy, distressed denim and khaki, muted and brown tones
• Believe it or not I have seen bibbed overalls in the shops!
• Short and jacket suits
My favourite military style this week:
1. Just Jeans distressed denim jacket with silver buttons and hipped in waist
2. World has a cool pair of bibbed overalls coming in next month
3. Max has a classic denim jacket with military style embellishment. Check it out.
This trend works well to widen the shoulder and narrow the waist. Watch it if you are really broad shouldered.
