Colour blocking

Colour blocking  I just love this trend! Colours blocking is wearing two fairly bold colours together for example a red jacket and fushia shirt!   It is no longer at all on trend to be dressed in top to toe black.  We have well surpassed this very dreary look.  Now days wearing colours together is very fashion forward.  We have many options to choose from.  So its time to be daring, put colours together and move with the times.

Many of my lovely clients however, are not to bothered by what is happening on the catwalks  They just want to look current, and be dressed in clothing that suits their colouring and body types.

Here are my top 5 hints on how to colour block;

1.    Wear one of your neutrals like black or white with two colours.  Like black, pink and red
2.    Ignore all the rules of which colour goes with which – red and orange can look fantastic in the right combination!
3.    If you are a bit afraid of this trend choose a strong colour like purple and put it with a more pale complimentary colour like yellow and break it up with white or cream
4.    Team colours from the same family together for a harmonious look – think bright pinks with vivid fuchsias, turquoise with royal blue
5.    Go for a neutral-toned shoe to keep it simple

We can help you get your colours done so you can wear colour with confidence and brighten up your wardrobe in these very cold winter months.
